No offline capability. MapQuest is a solid, accurate turn-by-turn navigation app with a few nifty perks. In addition to the usual spoken driving directions, it includes speed limit displays, live traffic cam feeds, and search integration. The app is free, but you can remove the ads and add some more features with a $3.99 in-app purchase.
There are many third party HUD apps that displays a mirrored HUD on the device screen so when it gets reflected in the windshield it shows the unmirrored image. Please add this feature to Waze! It could be as something as simple as a "mirrored mode" that would simply reverse the current map view so people could see it from their windshield.
If not, your phone’s GPS doesn’t update, in which case I’d assume it’s an issue of your phone/its location provider instead of Waze itself. Edit: Also try running google maps in the background before opening waze. I don’t know why but this has sometimes fixed location issues for me, even when I close google maps after it found its gps
Open Waze. Tap the search bar. Start typing an address or name of a place. A list of results will appear. Tap your destination. Tap Go now to start your navigation. Tap the top of the screen. Your directions will appear as a list. To return to the map, tap the top of the screen again.

I just got the latest update for Android and installed it. Problem is still there. Just in case I deleted and reinstalled 4.0, problem still there. GPS Test sees 16 satellites with a CEP of 30 feet, but Waze says there is no GPS. I cleared the AGPS agin and Updated still the same so it looks like it is a Waze problem.
